Bonnie Susser, M. A. CCC Director, has been a state licensed ASHA certified Speech/Language Pathologist for over 35 years.  Her Private Practice was first established in 1983 in Boonton, New Jersey before relocating to Morristown.  Bonnie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Maryland and her Master of Arts Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Queens College of the City University of New York.  Prior to beginning her private practice, Bonnie was Assistant Director of the Speech and Hearing department at New Jersey Rehabilitation Hospital (now Kessler Institute) and a Speech Language Pathologist at St. Clare's Hospital and Pascack Valley Hospital.  She was consultant at East Orange General Hospital, Workman's Circle Home for the Aged, and Visiting Nurse Service in Morris County.  Throughout her career, Bonnie has also supervised graduate students and Speech Language Pathologists during their Clinical Fellowship Year.  In addition to her clinical expertise, Bonnie has provided lectures for the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association on Videostroboscopy of the larynx and on the Fast ForWord program, a computerized language training program which improves auditory processing skills.  Bonnie has also completed PROMPT 1 which uses tactile-kinesthetic training to aid children with apraxia.  Bonnie's practice treats children with the following deficits-language delay/disorder, learning impaired, phonological and articulation disorders/delays, apraxia, tongue thrust, fluency, as well as child and adult voice disorders.  (polyps, nodules, vocal paralysis, singers with vocal injuries).     


Colleen Mullen, M.A. CCC

Colleen Mullen, M.A. CCC is an ASHA certified and New Jersey State licensed Speech/Language Pathologist.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, her Master of Arts Degree from New York University in Speech Language Pathology and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from the College of New Jersey.  Colleen has professional experience working in both private practice and the educational setting.  She began her career at Bonnie Susser's office in 2005 where she developed her skills in evaluating and treating children with diagnoses such as autism, apraxia, dysarthria, auditory processing disorder, receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, social pragmatic disorder, fluency and tongue thrust.  Colleen works closely with her client's families to assist each child in reaching their full potential.  


Rebecca Hitchcock

Rebecca Hitchcock, M.A. CCC, is an ASHA Certified and New Jersey licensed Speech/Language Pathologist with a strong clinical background in treating a wide variety of disorders in infants to adults. She has 33 years experience working with clients in the following areas:  apraxia, dysarthria, phonological disorders, language disorders, resonance disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, tongue thrust, voice and fluency.  Rebecca received her Master's Degree and Certificate of Clinical Competence in 1991 from Montclair State University.  She received her certification as a Speech Language Specialist at that time as well.  Additional certifications include:  PROMPT certification and AGBell certified Auditory-Verbal Educator.
